About KUMIKO

Connecting capabilities.
Building resilience.

KUMIKO is the market-facing initiator and coordinator behind a new way to organise distributed European manufacturing.

Our thesis

Europe does not only need more capacity. It needs capacity that can work together.

Industrial expertise is distributed. Production requirements are increasingly complex. KUMIKO bridges that gap by developing opportunities, structuring applications and coordinating manufacturing routes across organisational boundaries.

01

Develop the opportunity

We work from market need, not from an abstract catalogue of available machines.

02

Structure the application

We translate the need into process, material, evidence and delivery constraints that can be reviewed.

03

Coordinate the route

We connect the right specialist roles and stay involved at the critical interfaces.

How we operate

Small centre.
Deep specialist reach.

Accountable coordination

KUMIKO remains visible as the central market and route coordinator.

Expert review

Manufacturing and technical specialists contribute where the requirement demands it.

Evidence over slogans

We communicate pilot status and technical readiness with precision.

Industrial foundation

Built from industrial practice.
Not platform theory.

KUMIKO Virtual Factory is developed by KUMIKO GmbH. Founder Steffen Kuhn brings more than 13 years of experience in additive manufacturing, industrial market development and European partnership building, including roles at Materialise, EOS and Tritone Technologies.

This experience informs how requirements, capability gaps and production interfaces are structured. It does not replace project-specific engineering review or partner approval.

KUMIKO Industrial Advisory and KUMIKO Virtual Factory are operated by KUMIKO GmbH, but under separate scopes, contracts and information-access rules.

Information from advisory mandates is not reused for Virtual Factory workflows or future intelligence products without an explicit project basis and authorisation.

Project scopes, contracts and information handling are defined for each engagement.
